How Private Care Works
After receiving a referral for care, Nightingale sends a Registered Nurse to the home to speak with the client and family and make sure that the plan of care that is developed is customized to the needs of the client, including what type of caregiver is needed. This nurse will also communicate and coordinate with the client’s physician.
Caregivers are assigned according to needs and preferences. A Registered Nurse Case Manager is also assigned to every client. This nurse is responsible for overseeing all care that is delivered and is available to address questions and concerns or make changes to the type or amount of care that is requested. Nightingale understands how critical it is that clients like their caregivers. Should a client not care for a specific caregiver, he or she need only call the office to request a replacement.
